Email Settings for Microsoft Outlook 2010


Open MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2010

Click the FILE menu
Click the ACCOUNT SETTINGS menu
Click the ACCOUNT SETTINGS option

The ACCOUNT SETTINGS window will appear
Click the EMAIL tab
Click NEW

The ADD NEW ACCOUNT – CHOOSE SERVICE window will appear
Click EMAIL ACCOUNT
Click NEXT

The ADD NEW ACCOUNT – AUTO ACCOUNT SETUP window will appear
Click MANUALLY CONFIGURE SERVER SETTINGS
Click NEXT

The ADD NEW ACCOUNT – CHOOSE SERVICE window will appear
Click INTERNET EMAIL
Click NEXT

The ADD NEW ACCOUNT – INTERNET EMAIL SETTINGS window will appear
YOUR NAME = enter your full name
EMAIL ADDRESS = your-full-email-address@kctc.net
ACCOUNT TYPE = IMAP
INCOMING MAIL SERVER = imap.kctc.net
OUTGOING MAIL SERVER = smtp.kctc.net
USER NAME = your-full-email-address@kctc.net
PASSWORD =enter your email password
Check REMEMBER PASSWORD
Click MORE SETTINGS

The INTERNET EMAIL SETTINGS window will appear
Click the OUTGOING SERVER tab
Check MY OUTGOING SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION
Check USE SAME SETTINGS AS MY INCOMING SERVER
Click the ADVANCED tab
INCOMING SERVER – USE THE FOLLOWING ENCRYPTION = auto
OUTGOING SERVER – USE THE FOLLOWING ENCRYPTION = auto
Click OK

The ADD NEW ACCOUNT – INTERNET EMAIL SETTINGS window will appear
Click NEXT

THE ADD NEW ACCOUNT – CONGRATULATIONS window will appear
Click FINISH
